STUDENT AND PARENT TESTIMONIALS
Secondary Maths Student
If you’re looking to provide your child with the best possible start in life, then invest in their education. Good results in school will get the into a good university and from there a rewarding and lucrative career. A relatively small investment now could be worth hundreds of thousands of pounds over a child’s lifetime.
We were concerned about our daughter’s progress in Maths. She is due to be put into a set at the end of this year. Her teacher’s assessment was that she would be in a lower set as she was performing below average in her class. After a few months at Kip, she is now in the top two or three in the class and vying for a place in the top set next year.
She loves going to Kip, her confidence has improved and she looks forward to tests!
This is honestly the best investment we have ever made in her and we are confident it will pay back many times over.
Well done Kip!

I can’t say enough good things about Sam, James, Caitlin and the team. Our daughter started with them half way through year 5, as we wanted her to take two entrance exams for private secondary schools. She was under confident in Maths and in the bottom sets for Maths and English.
By the time she started year 6 in the September, Sam and Caitlin has worked their magic and in 9 months of going to Kip, she had moved up to the top sets in both subjects. She then passed two entrance exams and was offered a place at both private schools.
We cannot thank them enough for what they have done, Our daughter now has a passion for Maths and her English has now improved dramatically. You cannot regret investing in your child’s education and this was worth every penny. Our two younger girls can’t wait to go!

Two children, Primary and Secondary age
We have been using Kip McGrath in West Bridgeford for three to four years now for my daughter (age 13) and my son (age 10). We had tried a number of organisations for Maths and English tuition in the local area but the children had never taken to them, but they love going here. The learning system that is used, which is mainly computer based, is great and the kids really engage with it.
My son is doing great at school and often says that one of the reasons he is excelling in Maths is because of Kip. There is no ceiling on the learning, so my son is learning Maths above his curriculum year. This means he can go in to greater depth with his learning at school.
My daughter has some learning difficulties, but Kip has helped pull her Maths up from two years behind! She is now in the middle set in her year group at school. Sam and James are very communicative and nothing is ever a problem. I like the fact that here the kids get taught by qualified teachers, which is not what you get in other organisations. All the teachers that the kids have ever had have been excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

My son has attended Kip McGrath for over three years and we’re so glad we found this place. From the past many years, I have known nothing but excellence in service, delivery and outcome.
He joined Kip during the Covid pandemic, where normal schooling was interrupted and reduced to online learning. We are sure Kip was instrumental in his learning and he excelled at school.
He looks forward to attending every week. The homework is set and expected to be handed in on time, which instills a good learning ethic for future education. Feedback from homework is constructive and we can use it to learn and continuously improve.
We highly recommend this place. Keep up the good work.

We have been using Kip for a while now and would highly recommend them. All the staff are so supportive and engage really well with the students.
Sam and James are always on hand to offer support, guidance and advice and are always quick to get back to us with any of our queries. They have mad our kids feel welcomed and at home which has helped them settle in and encourages and stretches their learning.

My daughter’s confidence has grown in Maths since she has been going to Sam weekly. Nothing is too much trouble for Sam and James. She has even moved up a Maths group since joining. Highly recommend

My eldest son started just after lockdown and the teachers at Kip helped him catch up on the months of lost learning. The school closures affected significant amounts of year 5/6 for him and he was not confident with Maths to start with.
He got in to set 1 in year 7 and they have continued to help him through into year 9. If he has a test coming up, they will tailor the session to help him prepare. My younger son, who is now in year 6, has started attending sessions too. He was reluctant to commit to lessons outside of school, but the team make it fun and engaging and he comes home proud of what he has achieved
